Red Lodge is a Grade Two Listed private, former farmhouse in Wiltshire. Our task was to provide an overall design to be implemented in phases over a three-year period. The home has been in the same family for over a century, and there was a strong desire to retain the spirit of the house, while also fully refurbishing it and providing additional facilities to suit a large family.
At the start of the project, the building was heavily leaking and in dire need of restoration. It was full to the rafters with family heirlooms, so we worked closely with the Local Authority Conservation Officers and trusted local Craftspeople to progress swiftly with a repair programme to prevent further decay to the building.
Three Listed Building Applications and three building phases later, the building works were completed and the character of the building remains intact for the coming generations.
